5 Cocktails to Keep You Company For Thanksgiving

APPLE ‘RITA
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
1 Lime
Apple Cider (we prefer Scrumpy’s)
Simple Syrup
Cinnamon sugar
HOW YOU’LL MAKE IT:
Make Your Simple Syrup
Combine 1 cup of water and 2 cups of sugar and bring to a simmer, keep stirring until dissolved, then let cool.
Combine 2 oz. White Tie with 2 oz. Apple Cider and .5 oz. of Lime Juice and .25 oz. Simple
Add ice, then shake
Put a layer of cinnamon sugar on a plate, then rim your glass with a lime wedge. Dip your glass in the cinnamon sugar.
Pour your prepared cocktail into the glass and enjoy!
A GREAT(FUL) PEAR
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
Pear Juice
Maple Syrup
Optional: 1 pear
HOW YOU’LL MAKE IT:
Combine 1 oz. Coffee Liqueur, 1 oz. Vodka, 2 oz. pear juice, and .25 oz. of maple syrup.
Add ice, then shake.
Strain into martini glass.
Garnish your drink with a thin pear slice.
PUMPKIN SPICED AND STORMY
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
Pumpkin Purée
Lemon Juice
Ginger Beer (we prefer Kure’s)
Brown Sugar
Nutmeg
1 Orange
HOW YOU’LL MAKE IT:
Combine 1.5 oz. of Spiced Rum, 1 oz. of Gold Rum, 2 tsp. of pumpkin purée, .25 oz. Lemon juice, and 1 tsp. of brown sugar.
Add ice, then shake hard for 15 seconds.
Top with a splash of ginger beer.
Garnish with an orange peel and two dashes of nutmeg.
NOT YOUR MOM’S MULLED WINE
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
Dry Red Wine
3 Bags Chai Tea
Honey
1 Orange
HOW YOU’LL MAKE IT:
Combine 8 oz. Straight Malt with 4 oz. of Amaretto, 1 bottle of red wine, 4 oz. of honey, and 4 orange slices in a large saucepan.
Bring to a simmer, then add in 3 bags of chai.
Reduce heat to low and cover, then let sit for 15 minutes.
Strain, then taste. Add more honey if desired.
Pour into your favorite mug, then garnish with an orange slice.
THE EARLY RESOLUTION (MOCKTAIL)
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
White Grape Juice
Lemon Juice
Tart Cherry Juice
Thyme Simple
Sparkling Cider
Optional: Bordeaux Cherries
Make it boozy: CopperMuse Gin with Hibiscus
HOW YOU’LL MAKE IT:
Make the Thyme Simple
Combine 1 cup of water and 2 cups of sugar and bring to a simmer, keep stirring until dissolved, then add in three thyme sprigs and let cool and strain.
Combine 2 oz. white grape juice, 1 oz. lemon juice, .5 oz. tart cherry juice, and .5 oz thyme simple.
Optional: add 2 oz. Gin
Add ice, then shake.
Top with sparkling cider.
Garnish with a Bordeaux cherry and thyme sprig.
